Tuesday, December 5, 2000

The Burrard Inlet Environmental Action Plan (BIEAP) was formed a decade ago to bring together federal, provincial and local governments with the Vancouver Port Authority to promote environmental stewardship.
The BIEAP partnership is preparing a Consolidated Environmental Management Plan for Burrard Inlet. This plan will bring together, in one document, all the measures the BIEAP partners use to manage the activities that affect the Burrard Inlet ecosystem.
To help develop the plan, BIEAP is hosting a series of community forums in November and December in Burnaby, Port Moody, Vancouver and North Vancouver, and invite you to participate in one of the forums.
If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, please register for an agenda package by phoning the BEIAP program office at 775-5756 or emailing mail@bieapfremp.org
