- STREAMKEEPER TRAINING WEEKEND

9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Instructors will stay to answer any questions you may have.
Princess Park, North Vancouver
The 2 day course will cover Modules 1,2,3,4,7 & 11 of the Streamkeepers Handbook.
Location: Hastings Creek. We will meet at Princess Park in North Vancouver. It is on Princess Avenue, northwest of Lynn Valley Centre. Go up Mountain Highway to Wellington, left on Wellington to end left on Princess, turn left into parking lot.
Instructors: Dianne Ramage and ZoAnn Morten
Please bring a pencil, calculator, bag lunch and your enthusiasm. Dress for the weather and be sure to wear your boots or waders. All class time is in the field.
Price: $50. per student. Streamkeepers Handbook and Modules can be purchased at the course for the reduced price of $20.

We are ready to put on our boots and gloves and once again tackle those pesky invasive plants that are crowding out the natural areas of Mahon Park. English ivy, in particular, is displacing native vegetation and wildlife habitat.
