Stewardship can involve: Action - doing something in a certain way. choosing pavers instead of asphalt for a driveway. xeriscaping instead of lawn. carrying out a project (planting trees, volunteering). Or inaction - not doing things: not using pesticides. Either way, there is always a choice. Each person can make a difference. Everyone who lives, works, owns property in, manages or visits the watershed, is a part of the watershed system and has an impact on the ecological balance.
