The Heritage
Not long ago, this entire area was forested, rich in wildlife, with a healthy fisheries resource. Although drastically reduced, the remaining natural habitat still supports native plants and animals. This heritage can be saved and passed on to future generations through a combined effort.
The Need
Work is needed to repair habitat and to assure air and water quality, soil and slope stability, fish and wildlife continuity.
Each person can help. Everyone who lives, works, owns property in, manages or visits the watershed, is a part of the watershed system and has an impact on the ecological balance.
