    Voluntary

The Mahon Park Stewardship Project is a partnership project between Evergreen and the City of North Vancouver.
This project focuses primarily on the removal of exotic invaders and revegetation of the park with native plants.
Volunteer events such as monthly Ivy Pulls, involve local residents. As of October 2003, an impressive 40 cubic meters of invasives have been removed.
A long-term environmental education program will be established through the involvement of local community members.
